Acrocorinth

The acropolis of Corinth stands atop a 575 m high hill overlooking Ancient Corinth. Here there are ruins from the time of Ancient Greece to the time of the Turkish occupation.

Ancient Corinth

Ancient Corinth dates from the 6th Century BC, and was the wealthiest, and some say the most decadent city of Ancient Greece. Most of the ruins here are from Roman times, but the most impressive is greek, the Temple of Appolo.

Nafplio

Above the city of modern Nafplio are the Venetian fortifications of Palamidi. In the harbor lies the fortified island of Bourtzi.
